- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken wings dry thoroughly using paper towels.
- Drizzle olive oil over the wings and toss gently until evenly coated.
- In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix them well to form a dry rub.
- Sprinkle the dry rub mixture generously over the oiled chicken wings and toss to ensure even coating.
- Consider refrigerating the coated wings for at least 30 minutes for enhanced flavor.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack with space between each wing.
- Bake the wings for 30 minutes. Flip the wings over and continue baking for an additional 20 to 30 minutes.
- Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and optional hot sauce.
- Simmer the sauce for about 5 to 7 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Transfer the baked wings to a large bowl and toss them in the hot sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes
Refrigerating the marinated wings enhances flavor. Serve wings immediately after tossing in sauce for optimal crispiness.
