Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the butter pecan cake mix, coconut pecan frosting, eggs, vegetable oil, and milk. Mix until smooth and fold in chopped pecans.
  3. Pour the batter into the baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes. Check if done by inserting a toothpick.
  4. Once baked, let the cake cool for 10 minutes. Poke holes across the top with a wooden spoon handle.
  5. In a saucepan, melt unsalted butter and stir in sweetened condensed milk and chopped pecans. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour the warm sauce over the poked cake, allowing it to soak in.
