Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the pizza dough into 14 equal pieces and roll each into an 8-inch strip.
  3. Place a halved slice of American cheese and a frozen mini meatball on one end of each strip. Wrap and seal securely.
  4. In a pot, bring 5 cups of water to a boil, stir in baking soda until dissolved, and return to a gentle boil.
  5. Boil each assembled bomb for 20-30 seconds until slightly puffed, then transfer to drain on paper towels.
  6. Brush each bomb with the egg wash and sprinkle coarse sea salt on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
  8. Let cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauces.
