Method
 

Baking Steps
  1. Whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. Beat butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add egg yolks and vanilla, beat until combined and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, mix until just combined.
  5. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, place on baking sheet, and create an indent with a ¼ teaspoon.
  6. Refrigerate shaped dough for at least 1 hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake cookies for 9-11 minutes until set around edges.
  9. Heat heavy whipping cream, pour over chocolate chips, stir until smooth to make ganache.
  10. Fill each cookie indent with ganache, let set for 20-30 minutes.
