Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with silicone mats or parchment paper.

  3. In a stand mixer, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until creamy, then mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the butter-sugar mixture on low speed until just combined.
  5. Using a large cookie scoop, portion out the dough onto prepared baking sheets, roll into balls, and coat in granulated sugar.
