- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth and stir in 1 stick of melted butter.
- Mix in 1 cup of sugar, 1 beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well blended.
- Sprinkle 0.5 teaspoon of baking soda and a pinch of salt over the mixture and fold in gently.
- Slowly add in 1.5 cups of all-purpose flour, folding it gently into the wet mixture.
- Optionally fold in 0.5 cup of walnuts or chocolate chips before pouring the batter into the prepared pan.
