- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a deep baking dish by greasing it.
- Layer half of the sliced Yukon Gold potatoes on the bottom of the greased baking dish, overlapping slightly.
- Add half of the sliced onions over the potatoes, followed by half of the chopped corned beef.
- Add half of the chopped green cabbage on top of the corned beef layer and distribute evenly.
- Repeat the layering process with the remaining potatoes, onions, corned beef, and cabbage.
- Whisk together the beef broth, Dijon mustard, black pepper, and garlic powder in a separate bowl, then pour over the layered ingredients.
- Dot the top with the diced unsalted butter and cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake covered for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving to help it set and make slicing easier.

Notes
Ensure even layering of ingredients for consistent cooking. Use low-sodium broth to control saltiness and cover tightly during baking for moist results.
