  • 1 cup Beef Broth Or water for moisture
  • 1/4 cup Milk Optional for extra creaminess

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and ground beef. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned, then drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  4. Layer thinly sliced potatoes evenly over the beef mixture, seasoning with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar and grated Parmesan over the potato layers, then pour beef broth around the edges, adding milk if desired.
  6. Cover with aluminium foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until cheese is golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
