Preparation
- Blanch broccoli florets in boiling water for 2 minutes, then transfer to an ice bath to halt cooking. Pat dry.
- In a mixing bowl, combine blanched broccoli, cream cheese, cheddar, parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Blend until creamy.
- Form mixture into 1-2 inch balls and place on a plate or baking sheet.
- Pour panko breadcrumbs into a shallow dish and roll each ball to coat thoroughly.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place coated poppers in air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Let cool briefly before serving with dipping sauces.
