  • 2 large Eggs or flax eggs for vegan
  • 2 tablespoons Hot Sauce to taste
  • 3 cups Cornflakes crushed, gluten-free available
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika smoked for depth
  • 1 tablespoon Seasoning Mix salt, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne
For the Hot Honey Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Honey or maple syrup for vegan
  • 2 tablespoons Additional Hot Sauce to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or plant-based butter for dairy-free
  • 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar cane sugar is an alternative
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard Powder

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Crush cornflakes finely and set aside in a shallow bowl.
  3. Set up the breading station with flour, egg wash, and cornflake mixture.
  4. Trim chicken to uniform thickness and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bread the chicken starting with flour, then egg wash, followed by cornflakes.
  6. Bake the chicken on a greased baking sheet for 15-16 minutes.
  7. For the sauce, combine honey, hot sauce, butter, brown sugar, and vinegar in a saucepan and stir until melted.
  8. Serve chicken drizzled with hot honey sauce and enjoy!
