  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper Adjust for taste.
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried Red Chili Flakes Optional.
For the Finish
  • 1/2 cup Cashews (roasted and unsalted) Can substitute with toasted almonds.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  2. Toss cauliflower florets with cornstarch until well-coated and shake off excess.
  3. Bake coated cauliflower for 10 minutes to soften and begin crisping.
  4. Whisk together water and cornstarch, then add soy sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and chili flakes until smooth.
  5. Remove cauliflower and pour sauce over florets, stirring to coat evenly.
  6. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Add cashews, stir lightly, and bake for another 15 minutes.
  8. Let rest, then serve immediately with rice, quinoa, or as a standalone dish.
