Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Club Sandwich
- Heat a skillet over low heat. Add bacon strips and cook slowly for about 8-10 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Transfer bacon to paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread and toast in a griddle or skillet over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Spread a generous layer of mayo on the unbuttered side of each toasted slice. Consider adding aioli for a gourmet twist.
- On one slice of bread (mayo side up), layer the crisp lettuce, tomato slices seasoned with salt and pepper, turkey, and finish with bacon strips.
