Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) or your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grate 2 medium zucchinis, then squeeze out the excess moisture using a kitchen towel.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the zucchini, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and beaten egg.
  4. Add in dried oregano, dried basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; mix well.
  5. Shape mixture into tablespoon-sized balls and place on a baking sheet or air fryer basket.
  6. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, or air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool for a few minutes, then serve warm, garnished with herbs or cheese.
