Cooking Steps
  1. Start by marinating your large shrimp in buttermilk for about 15 minutes at room temperature.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk these ingredients together until fully blended.
  3. After marinating, take each shrimp and allow the excess buttermilk to drip off. Toss it gently in the seasoned flour mixture.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the shrimp in batches, frying for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Once fried, drizzle hot honey generously over the crispy shrimp while they are still hot.
  6. Finally, sprinkle the fried shrimp with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
