- Start by marinating your large shrimp in buttermilk for about 15 minutes at room temperature.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk these ingredients together until fully blended.
- After marinating, take each shrimp and allow the excess buttermilk to drip off. Toss it gently in the seasoned flour mixture.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the shrimp in batches, frying for 2-3 minutes.
- Once fried, drizzle hot honey generously over the crispy shrimp while they are still hot.
- Finally, sprinkle the fried shrimp with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
