Fudge Base
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips can be swapped with semi-sweet chocolate
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract adjust for milder taste
Toppings
  • 1 cup Crushed Peppermint Candies can be replaced with crushed candy canes
  • a few drops Red Food Coloring optional, omit for a natural appearance

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk with both white and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  3. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously for about 5-7 minutes until melted and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
  5. Pour half of the mixture into a separate bowl.
  6. Add a few drops of red food coloring to the remaining mixture and mix well.
  7. Pour the red-colored fudge over the uncolored fudge in the prepared pan.
  8. Use a spatula to spread evenly without completely mixing.
  9. Use a butter knife to make swirls through the layers.
  10. Sprinkle crushed peppermint candies on top, pressing lightly.
  11. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until firm.
