Step-by-Step Instructions for Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with crumpled parchment paper.
  2. Blend 1 cup of cottage cheese, 2 large eggs, 1/2 cup of almond flour, 1 tsp of garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp of fine sea salt until smooth.
  3. Pour the blended mixture onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly into a thin circle about 10 inches in diameter.
  4. Bake on the lowest rack of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes until firm in the center and with golden edges.
  5. Spread 1/2 cup of tomato sauce on the baked crust and then sprinkle 1 1/2 cups of low-moisture mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Return the pizza to the oven for an additional 8 to 10 minutes, or broil for the last minute for a bubbly top.
  7. Sprinkle 1 tsp of dried oregano and 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes over the pizza after baking. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
