Step-by-Step Instructions for Frozen Banana Snacks
  1. Begin by peeling three ripe but firm bananas and slicing them in half lengthwise to create 12 quarters. Arrange the banana pieces neatly on a baking tray lined with baking paper or on a large plate.
  2. Using a teaspoon, scoop out a generous dollop of crunchy peanut butter and spread it evenly over each banana quarter.
  3. In a glass bowl, combine the three squares of dark chocolate and 3/4 teaspoon of coconut oil. Microwave the mixture in short bursts of about 20 seconds, stirring in between until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  4. Once the chocolate is melted and glossy, take a spoon and drizzle it generously over the peanut butter-topped bananas.
  5. Next, evenly sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded coconut over the drizzled chocolate.
  6. Transfer the tray or plate to the freezer and allow the banana snacks to freeze for 1 to 2 hours, or until they are solid.
  7. Once frozen, let the banana snacks sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
