Preparation Steps
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in 1 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and a pinch of salt and black pepper.
- Carefully shell the crab legs, discarding the shells, and break the meat into bite-sized chunks or steam fresh crab for about 6-8 minutes until cooked.
- In a medium pan, add a couple of tablespoons of garlic butter over low heat and gently warm. Add crab meat and stir to coat, heating for 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in chopped chives, dill, parsley, and lemon juice into the warmed crab.
- Preheat broiler on high. Place brioche buns cut side up on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Spoon crab mixture into each brioche bun, drizzle with remaining garlic butter, and add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
