Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the large shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with a pinch of salt.
  2. Coat each shrimp in cornstarch, shaking off excess and setting aside.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden.
  5. Sauté minced garlic and ginger in the same skillet for about 30 seconds.
  6. Add soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar and red pepper flakes to the skillet and bring to a gentle boil.
  7. Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  8. Serve the shrimp garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
