Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, ½ cup of honey, ¼ cup of molasses, sliced ginger, and cinnamon sticks. Bring to a boil, stirring until dissolved. Boil for 3-5 minutes, remove from heat, stir in vanilla, cool, and strain.
  2. Prepare a chilled rocks glass by dipping in water or syrup and rolling in a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  3. Fill the glass with ice, pour in vodka and coffee liqueur, then add gingerbread syrup. Stir gently.
  4. Float heavy cream over the back of a spoon to create a layered look.
  5. Garnish with ground cinnamon or nutmeg, or a mini gingerbread cookie. Serve immediately.
