- Preheat your oven to 392°F (200°C). Carefully carve a shallow trench lengthwise along each ripe banana, without cutting through completely.
- Spoon hazelnut cream into the trench of each banana, spreading it evenly to fill the cavity.
- Roll out puff pastry and cut it into strips. Wrap each banana with the pastry, overlapping and tucking the ends underneath.
- Place the wrapped bananas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle sugar on top.
- Bake for about 25 minutes, until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm!
