Step-by-Step Instructions for Gyoza Recipe
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped green onions, finely shredded cabbage, pressed garlic, sesame oil, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Lay out round wonton wrappers on a clean, dry surface. Place about a teaspoon of the filling mixture in the center of each wrapper, taking care not to overfill.
  3. Lightly brush the edges of each wrapper with water, fold in half to encase the filling, pinch the edges together, and create pleats for a traditional look.
  4. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add gyoza in a single layer and fry for about 3 minutes until the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.
  5. Carefully add water to the skillet, cover with a lid, and let steam for 3-4 minutes until the filling is cooked through.
  6. Once cooked, remove the gyoza and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
