Preparation Steps
- Microwave the pitted cherries in a bowl for about 30 seconds until they soften, then mash them with a fork. Stir in chia seeds, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- Combine rolled oats, protein powder, almond milk, coconut yogurt, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Stir until thick but pourable and refrigerate overnight.
- Layer half of the oat mixture into a mason jar, then half of the cherry chia jam. Repeat the process with remaining ingredients.
- Seal the jar and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours or overnight.
- Serve cold or microwave for 20-30 seconds. Top with almond butter and enjoy!
