Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Potato Kielbasa Soup
  1. Start by chopping the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces, dicing the potatoes into cubes, and finely chopping the onion. Mince the garlic.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, add a splash of oil and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped kielbasa to the pot and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Stir in the diced potatoes and seasonings; mix everything well for about 2 minutes to coat the potatoes evenly.
  5. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, covering the ingredients, and increase heat to high until boiling.
