  2. Brown the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Sauté the Vegetables: Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for 15-20 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Create the Sauce: Stir in crushed tomatoes and heavy cream. Add Italian seasoning, brown sugar, and balsamic vinegar. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss with the sauce. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Add the Finishing Touches: Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
