Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  3. Pour in the warm milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract to the dry mixture. Stir until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon over it.
  7. Carefully roll the dough into a tight log and cut it into 12 equal slices.
  8. Place the sliced rolls onto the baking sheet, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  10. While baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by mixing together cream cheese, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
