Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Chicken Wings: Pat your chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large mixing bowl, combine wings with olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, ground black pepper, and cornstarch. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
  3. Bake the Wings: Arrange seasoned wings in a single layer on the wire rack. Bake for 20 minutes, flip them over, and continue baking for another 20 to 25 minutes until fully cooked and crispy.
  4. Make the Glaze: In a medium saucepan, combine honey, unsalted butter, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Heat over medium heat, stirring until bubbling. Add lemon pepper seasoning and cracked black pepper, simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Combine Wings and Glaze: Transfer the baked wings to a bowl and pour the warm glaze over them. Toss until fully coated. Serve immediately.
