Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Dough by rolling out your pizza crust on a floured surface until it's about 3/8 inch thick. Cover with a towel and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat your grill to about 500°F, then turn the heat down to low for a few minutes to create a crispy base.
  3. Grill the crust for 2 to 4 minutes until the bottom has beautiful char marks and the top starts to bubble.
  4. Remove the crust, brush with olive oil, spread pizza sauce, and add mozzarella, bacon, blackberries, and basil. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Return the pizza to the grill raw side down. Lower the heat to minimum and cook for 4 to 6 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  6. If needed, move the pizza to indirect heat and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until heated through.
