Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather your baking dish and set up your ingredients.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, green chilies, cumin, and chili powder. Mix well.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sour cream, minced garlic, and shredded cheese. Stir until smooth, about 5 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt.
- Pour a thin layer of the sauce into the bottom of your baking dish.
- Warm the tortillas slightly. Place a generous amount of the chicken filling in each tortilla, roll tightly, and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
- Pour the remaining sauce generously over the top of the enchiladas.
- Sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbling and golden brown.
