- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter. Cut the white bread into cubes and spread them in the dish.
- In a blender, combine melted butter, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk or half and half, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
- Pour custard mixture over cubed bread and gently press down to soak. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Bake uncover for about 1 hour until golden brown. A toothpick should come out clean.
- For the sauce, melt butter in a saucepan, stir in sweetened condensed milk and brown sugar, cooking until bubbly, then add vanilla extract.
- After baking, poke holes in the pudding and pour half of the sauce over it. Let cool for 1 hour.
- Serve warm, drizzling remaining sauce over each slice.
