Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Irresistible Egg Bake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs until well combined. Add cheese, vegetables, and optional meats.
  2. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Place cubed bread evenly in the bottom and pour the egg mixture over the bread, pressing down gently.
  3. Cover the dish tightly with plastic wrap or foil and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
  4. Remove from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes. Bake for 30-40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing into squares and serve warm, optionally garnished with herbs or yogurt.
  6. For individual portions, pour the egg mixture into greased muffin tins and bake for 20-25 minutes.
