- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and thaw pastry for 30 minutes; line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine spinach, artichokes, Parmesan, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes in a bowl.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface; spread half of the filling evenly over it, leaving a border.
- Place another half of the pastry over the filled section, press edges to seal.
- Slice into six strips, twisting gently to create spirals.
- Beat egg with water and coat the tops of each swirl with the egg wash.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
