Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Add spaghetti and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes. Drain, reserving ½ cup cooking water.
  2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet. Add sliced garlic and sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Stir in red pepper flakes, then add drained spaghetti to the skillet. Toss well to coat in garlic oil.
  4. Pour in reserved cooking water gradually, stirring until desired sauce consistency is reached.
