  • 8 oz Cream Cheese Softened
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Pink Candy Melts Melted
  • 1 cup White Candy Melts or White Chocolate Almond Bark Melted
For the Finish

Equipment

  • mixing bowl
  • Cookie Sheet
  • Wax Paper
  • microwave
  • Forks

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by crushing the frosted animal crackers cookies until they become fine crumbs. Use a food processor for a quick method, processing for about 30 seconds.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed cookies with the softened cream cheese, blending until thoroughly mixed using your hands for a smooth mixture.
  3. Take small portions of the mixture and roll them into 1-inch balls with your hands. Place each ball onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
  4. Once all your truffle balls are formed, place the cookie sheet in the refrigerator. Chill the truffles for about 15 to 30 minutes, or until they are firm to the touch.
  5. Prepare your pink and white candy melts in separate bowls, microwaving each in short bursts of about 30 seconds, stirring in between.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted pink candy, ensuring they are evenly covered, and then gently shake off the excess.
  7. Immediately sprinkle rainbow sprinkles over the coated truffles before the candy hardens to ensure they stick well.
