Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by lining an 8 or 9-inch square baking dish with aluminum foil, ensuring an overhang on the edges for easy removal later.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of whipped cream cheese, ½ cup of granulated sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip.
- Take 8 Oatmeal Creme Pies and place them flat on the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Cut edges if necessary to cover the base completely.
- Drizzle half of the chocolate syrup and ¼ cup of brewed coffee evenly over the pies. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the soaked pies.
- Add another layer of the remaining Oatmeal Creme Pies, drizzle with remaining coffee and chocolate syrup. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over this second layer.
- Dust the top with cocoa powder and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, to let flavors meld.
