Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Prepare your baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil.
- Remove the tough membrane from the back of the ribs. Place the ribs meaty side up on the lined baking sheet.
- Mix garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cumin, and optional chili powder. Rub the mixture onto both sides of the ribs, then drizzle olive oil over them.
- Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours until the meat pulls away from the bones.
- Prepare your barbecue sauce mixture by blending barbecue sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and optional cayenne pepper.
- Remove the foil, coat the ribs with barbecue sauce, and increase the oven temperature to 460°F (240°C).
- Bake the ribs uncovered for 10 minutes, then switch to broil mode for about 3 minutes.
- Let the ribs rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve hot.

Notes
Seal foil tightly to retain moisture and increase tenderness. Allow ribs to rest post-baking for better flavor.
