- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and a pinch of salt.
- Cream together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter, ¾ cup of brown sugar, and ½ cup of granulated sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed for about 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in 1 cup of creamy peanut butter until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Beat in 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until fully blended.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed just until combined.
- Fold in 1 cup of mini chocolate chips and 1 cup of M&M candies gently.
- Scoop out balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes
For softer cookies, take them out of the oven when they look slightly underbaked in the center.
