For the Blending
  • 4 cups Water Adjust for desired concentration.
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Optional, can substitute with coconut water.
For Serving
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Mint Chopped or torn for stronger flavor.
  • 1 oz Gin or Vodka Optional for an adult twist.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Gather all your ingredients for the Pineapple Cucumber Agua Fresca.
  2. Chop the cucumber and pineapple into small chunks. Juice the lime and prepare the ginger.
  3. In a blender, combine cucumber, pineapple, lime juice, ginger, and mint with water, and blend until smooth.
  4. If desired, add maple syrup or coconut water and blend briefly to combine.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove pulp.
  6. Pour the strained agua fresca into a pitcher with ice to chill.
  7. Serve chilled, garnishing each glass with fresh mint leaves.
