Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Measure out your coconut cream and heat in a microwave-safe bowl for about 1 minute until warm.
  2. In a medium heavy-bottom pot, pour in the granulated sugar and set over medium heat. Do not stir.
  3. Once edges caramelize, push unmelted sugar to the center and continue heating until amber.
  4. Remove pot from heat and carefully pour in warmed coconut cream, stirring gently.
  5. Keep on low heat, stirring occasionally for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  6. Off the heat, mix in vanilla extract and sea salt, allow to cool before transferring to an airtight container.
