- Measure out your coconut cream and heat in a microwave-safe bowl for about 1 minute until warm.
- In a medium heavy-bottom pot, pour in the granulated sugar and set over medium heat. Do not stir.
- Once edges caramelize, push unmelted sugar to the center and continue heating until amber.
- Remove pot from heat and carefully pour in warmed coconut cream, stirring gently.
- Keep on low heat, stirring occasionally for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
- Off the heat, mix in vanilla extract and sea salt, allow to cool before transferring to an airtight container.
