For the Caramelized Onions

  • 2 medium Onions Sliced.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Blanch the green beans in boiling salted water for 1 minute, then transfer to an ice water bath.

  3. Add minced garlic to onions and cook for 1 additional minute.
  4. Heat remaining butter in the skillet and toss in the blanched green beans, add seasoning and red pepper flakes.
  5. Top green beans with caramelized onions and serve warm.
