Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Cowboy Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and diced onion. Cook until the beef is browned and the onion is tender, about 7–10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in corn, cream of mushroom, and cream of chicken soups. Mix thoroughly for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Transfer the beef and soup mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the beef mixture.
