For the Pasta and Veggies
  • 8 ounces Fettuccine pasta Gluten-free option available.
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets Can substitute with asparagus or green beans.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Combine the paprika, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper in a medium bowl to create the spice mix.
  2. Coat the salmon fillets in the spice mix and press gently to adhere. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  3. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, add fettuccine, and cook according to package instructions. Add broccoli florets in the last 3 minutes of cooking.
  4. In the skillet used for salmon, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in heavy cream and simmer. Gradually add Parmesan cheese, stirring until smooth.
  5. Add the drained pasta and broccoli to the Alfredo sauce and toss gently to combine.
  6. Serve the pasta and broccoli topped with blackened salmon.
