  • 2 pounds Pork Ribs baby back or spare ribs
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
For the Marinade
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger or 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic or equal parts garlic powder

Preparation Steps

  2. Lightly coat both sides of the pork ribs with sesame oil, then season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, ketchup, soy sauce, pineapple juice, fresh ginger, and garlic until well combined.
  4. Generously brush the marinade onto both sides of the ribs, ensuring a full coating.
  5. Place the ribs on the prepared baking sheets and bake for 3 to 4 hours, flipping every hour.
  6. Let the ribs rest for about 10 minutes before cutting into portions and serving.
