  • 0.33 cup mayo Vegan mayonnaise can be used.
  • 1.5 Tbsp lime juice Can substitute with lemon juice.
  • 0.75 tsp garlic powder Fresh garlic is another option.
  • 0.75 tsp Sriracha Adjust to taste.
For Assembling the Tacos
  • 8 corn tortillas Can substitute with flour tortillas.
  • 0.5 small purple cabbage, shredded Green cabbage is a substitute.
  • 1 avocado, diced Guacamole can replace this.
  • 0.5 small red onion, diced Shallots are a milder option.
  • 4 oz Cotija cheese Feta cheese can also be used.
  • 0.25 bunch cilantro Can substitute with parsley.
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges Extra lemon can be used in a pinch.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayo, lime juice, garlic powder, and Sriracha until smooth.
  2. Prepare toppings: shred purple cabbage, dice avocado, onion, and chop cilantro.
  3. Pat dry shrimp and mix with garlic, salt, black pepper, cumin, and cayenne.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add shrimp, and sauté until cooked through.
  5. Warm tortillas over flame or in a skillet until lightly golden.
  6. Assemble tacos by adding shrimp, cabbage, avocado, onion, Cotija, and cilantro, then drizzle with sauce.
