Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by forming the ground chuck into 1/3 pound balls and chilling them in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Thinly slice the white onions using a mandoline slicer and squeeze out excess moisture.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy and chop it finely.
- In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped bacon, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, and all-purpose seasoning. Mix well.
- Heat a griddle over medium-high heat with avocado oil. Place the burger balls and smash each down firmly.
- Top each patty with squeezed onions and season with salt, pepper, and garlic; cook for 3-4 minutes.
- Spread mustard on each patty, flip carefully, and add a slice of cheese; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Toast burger buns cut-side down on the griddle for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Spread Baconnaise sauce on the bottom of each bun, stack the burgers, and top with the other bun. Serve immediately.
