Step-by-Step Instructions for Soft Pretzel Bites
  1. In a stand mixer, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, instant yeast, warm milk, melted butter, and salt. Mix on medium speed for about 4-5 minutes until the dough is smooth and slightly tacky.
  2. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth or plastic wrap and let the dough rise for 30-60 minutes until it has doubled in size.
  3. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Punch down the risen dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a rope and cut into 1-2 inch pieces.
  4. In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil and add baking soda. Dip each pretzel bite into the bath for about 30 seconds.
