- In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add one diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent. Then, add 2 minced garlic cloves and stir for an additional minute.
- Introduce one pound of ground beef, breaking it up, and cook for 6-8 minutes until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in 15 oz of tomato sauce, 14.5 oz of diced tomatoes, and 1 cup of beef broth. Add 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of paprika, and 1 tsp of Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix in 2 cups of uncooked elbow macaroni, cover the pot, and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally until pasta is tender.
- If desired, sprinkle in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
- Ladle into warm bowls and optionally garnish with chopped parsley.
