  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal patties, about ¼ pound each and ¾ inch thick, making an indentation in the center of each patty.
  3. Preheat the grill or skillet over medium-high heat, reaching about 375°F (190°C). Add olive oil if using a skillet.
  4. Cook patties on the grill or skillet for 5-6 minutes without moving, then flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
