Cooking Steps
- Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear, then cook according to package instructions. Combine with sushi seasoning in a bowl while warm.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and layer the bottom of a greased baking dish with the sushi rice, pressing down gently.
- Sprinkle masago over the sushi rice, followed by a generous layer of furikake.
- In separate bowls, mix imitation crab with cream cheese, and canned tuna with Korean chili paste, ponzu sauce, and black pepper.
- Spread half of the creamy crab mixture on one side of the rice layer, and the spicy tuna mixture on the other.
- Drizzle Japanese mayo over the top, then sprinkle with more furikake before baking.
- Bake in the oven and broil for 3-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before slicing into squares and serve with crispy nori.
