Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the pizza dough according to the recipe instructions, or use store-bought dough. Lightly flour your work surface and roll it out into a 14-inch circle.
  2. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, stirring for about 1 minute.
  4. Whisk in flour to create a roux. Gradually add whole milk and half and half, whisking continuously. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in cream cheese and grated Parmesan until melted and combined. Remove from heat.
  6. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a parchment-lined baking sheet. Fold and seal the edges, brushing with olive oil.
  7. Pre-bake the crust in the oven for 5-7 minutes until it starts to firm up.
  8. Spread the creamy sauce over the crust, followed by mozzarella, spinach, artichokes, and grilled chicken if desired.
  9. Bake the pizza for 7-10 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
  10. Remove from oven, cool for 5 minutes, and top with shaved and grated Parmesan before serving.
  11. Slice the pizza into generous pieces and serve immediately.
